This bucket list trip involves the exhilarating pursuit of Arctic Char across three of Greenland’s premier rivers: the Isua River, Eqaluit, and Ilivertallip Kuua. Each river offers its own unique charm and challenge, promising a fishing adventure like no other. From the powerful currents of Isua River to the serene, crystal-clear waters of Eqaluit and the expansive pools of Ilivertallip Kuua, this trio of rivers deliver an unparalleled fishing experience. Lodging:
Camp Isua is a fully-equipped camp nestled in the bottom end of Kangerluarsussuaq, a remote and stunning location in Greenland. The camp is a four-hour boat ride from Nuuk, the capital city, and is ideally situated near the Isua River. This camp is meticulously designed to cater to fly fishers seeking an unforgettable fishing experience amidst Greenland’s unique wilderness.
The camp was designed to provide a personalized fly fishing experience, where the chemistry between anglers and guides is paramount. Guests arrive as clients and leave as friends, having experienced the best that Greenland has to offer in fly fishing for Arctic Char.
The camp strikes a balance between comfort and authenticity. Guests stay in luxurious glamping facilities, providing high comfort while allowing close contact with the raw Greenlandic nature.
During the stay, anglers will enjoy up to 6½ days of fishing in three different rivers. Each evening includes a briefing to plan and tailor the next day’s fishing adventures based on individual preferences and weather conditions.
Transportation to the two nearby rivers takes 30-40 minutes via our open boats. Each group is accompanied by an experienced guide equipped with essential skills and safety gear, including an inReach device and first aid kit. The guide also ensures that lunch, coffee, and snacks are provided during day trips, all prepared with care.
The camp is located 4-hours by boat from Greenland’s capital city, Nuuk.
How to get there:
Anglers will need to fly into Nuuk, Greenland. Direct flights are now available from New York with United Airlines, or via Canada and Europe. Upon arrival in Nuuk, anglers will be met by a member of staff and transferred to a hotel, before hopping aboard the boat to the camp the following day.

A valid passport is required to enter Greenland. We will inform you what visa may be needed based on your nationality.

10-Day Itinerary:
7 nights in camp, 6 days fishing and 2 nights at a hotel in Nuuk
Day 1:
Arrival to Nuuk, anglers are picked up at the airport and transferred to a hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 2:
Boat transfer to camp. Approximately 4 hours of sailing (half day of fishing in Isua River) after arriving in camp.
Day 3 – 8:
Six days of fishing on three different river systems
Day 9:
Boat transfer from camp to Nuuk. Overnight in the same hotel.
Day 10:
Departure from Nuuk to home destination.
