World-Record Sea-Run Arctic Char Fishing

Trip Overview ➜

  • Travel deep into Nunavut for a true expedition-style Arctic char fishing adventure on the legendary Tree River. Accessible only by floatplane, this remote river is widely regarded as the benchmark for trophy sea-run Arctic char, offering legitimate opportunities to encounter fish exceeding 20 pounds in a system that has produced the IGFA all-tackle world record.
  • The Tree River experience is as much about the setting as the fishing. Vast tundra, rushing whitewater and an almost untouched Arctic landscape create a sense of isolation that is increasingly difficult to find. Every day revolves around the river, with experienced guides helping anglers approach the most productive pools and adapt their tactics to the conditions.
  • This seven-day adventure includes six nights at Tree River Lodge and five days of guided fishing, with floatplane transfers, meals, boats, fuel, rods and reels included. It is a demanding and deeply rewarding trip created for anglers seeking world-record potential, spectacular fish and one of the most remote freshwater fishing experiences on Earth.
