- This trip is built around casting and popping for bluefin tuna, albacore, leerfish, bluefish, and other predatory fish in the waters off the coast of the Ebro Delta.
- Much of the fishing is highly visual, with fish often found feeding around baitballs. When they show, the focus is on getting lures into the action quickly. Chumming for bluefin tuna is also possible.
- Each day depends on the weather, currents, bait movement, and where the fish are holding, so the fishing can change quickly from one session to the next.
- L’Hospitalet de l’Infant, situated between Barcelona and Valencia, provides a quiet base close to the fishing grounds, with local seafood, Catalan food, and the coast nearby once the fishing is done.

How to get there:
Fly into Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN), the primary international gateway to Catalonia. Located approximately 12 km southwest of Barcelona’s city center, it serves as the main airport for the region. From there, our prearranged shuttle will transfer you directly to L’Hospitalet de l’Infant, a journey that typically takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenic drive along the Mediterranean coastline as you head to your fishing destination
Day 1: Arrival in L’Hospitalet de l’Infant
- Arrive at Barcelona Airport and take your prearranged shuttle to L’Hospitalet de l’Infant, a scenic 1 hour and 15-minute drive.
- Check-in at your beachfront hotel, either the 4R Meridia Mar or Hotel Vistamar, located just steps from the harbor.
- Spend the afternoon exploring the local beach and getting acquainted with the town’s relaxed coastal atmosphere.
Day 2: First Day of Fishing
- After breakfast, head to the harbor for your fishing charter departure.
- Enjoy a full day on the water, fishing in the productive offshore waters of the Mediterranean.
- Return to the harbor in the late afternoon and unwind, taking in the coastal views and relaxing after your day on the water.
Day 3: Second Day of Fishing
- After breakfast, head out for your second full day of fishing.
