Akuani Floating Camp 🇨🇴

Akuani Floating Camp is a remote peacock bass fishing operation on the Tomo River in eastern Colombia’s Vichada region. The camp provides access to the Tomo, the clearer Gavilán tributary and a network of lagoons, backwaters and oxbow lakes within the Orinoco basin. Three species of peacock bass form the core of the fishing, including trophy-sized speckled peacock bass that can exceed 20 pounds. With five floating cabins, a maximum of ten anglers and two anglers assigned to each boat, Akuani offers an adventurous jungle fishing experience with comfortable but deliberately simple accommodation.
